Help for the mini-van (part 2)

We are overwhelmed and full of joy and deep gratitude for the reactions so far to the appeal we made in May 2003 for donations.

But the greatest surprise came from a friend of the Society who arranged the purchase of a barely 3-year-old VW in very good condition for an excellent price. Thanks to two lending individuals this vehicle could be purchased near the end of July and driven into Ukraine by Sándor Zán.

We therefore feel it is a “gift”, since there is word that supposedly changes will be made concerning importation and customs duties for automobiles going to Ukraine beginning the middle of August. Donations thus far will cover about a third of the cost. So the “mini-van” project is by no means concluded for us.
